High Country Cottage - Stroll to Park & Downtown West Jefferson!

Cassonda's place was just as described. After a very hectic week at home, arriving at a lovely, welcoming home and sitting on the front porch with a cooler breeze blowing, surpassed my expectations! My husband and I both slept through the night on the comfortable king size bed. The appealing mountain theme decor was consistent throughout the home. We enjoyed am and pm walks downtown and to the near by town park and library. In summary, Cassondra's place was the perfect choice for our mountain vacation!

Cassondra's listing was a great area for us to walk to the library and playground with our child. Any hiccups that happened, Cassondra was quick to communicate. Would recommend and plan to stay here again

It’s a conveniently located, beautifully renovated property, perfect for one or two couples or a family. The layout and furnishings inside and out encourage togetherness. We felt very comfortable. The mattresses were a little soft for our liking, but that’s just a personal preference. Travel-size toiletries in the bath would have been a plus. There were more than enough linens in the kitchen and bathroom. Washing machine and dishwasher detergent pods are appreciated. I liked that Cassondra doesn’t toss barely used condiments and seasonings from the kitchen. It’s so much less wasteful and cost-saving.

Great little place that was a 2 min walk to the park, which was great. 5 mins and you’re in the middle of downtown WJ. Perfect for what we needed. Cassondra was very responsive and her home was exactly as described. Highly recommend and would stay again.

I'm a seasoned airbnb guest and I have to say this by far was one of my tops for places I've stayed. Very comfortable, well stocked, tastefully decorated, thoughtful touches, awesome location. Cassandra was a wonderful and very accommodating and communicative host. Can't recommend enough!

Perfect space for our family when in area for wedding. With two small dogs, we appreciated the fenced front yard and quiet street a block from park. Hope to stay here again.

What an amazing few days! Perfect location in West Jefferson! If you intend to explore downtown there’s no need for your car if you stay at High Country Cottage! Perfect location. Also, right around the corner from family we were visiting. The house is adorable and spotless. Beds are so comfortable that my only problem was deciding how late I was going to sleep-in! There is also a little suite separately in the backyard so if my other sister and her husband come for a visit at the same time we can stay together but have privacy. We’ve stayed several places in WJ and all were super great but High Country Cottage takes the cake! PS: there is an awesome fire pit and cute lighting outside but we didn’t get a chance to use it. Next time!!!

My husband, our pup, and I have stayed here multiple times. We love the location and its proximity to downtown. There’s also a great park within walking distance, and our dog loves it. The house itself is always clean and cozy with lovely decor. Plus, the kitchen is stocked with everything for your cooking needs.

Once again, this home provided serenity and joy throughout our stay. The house is perfectly located within walking distance from downtown WJ but away from the main traffic! You have everything that you need at your fingertips. This visit, we decided to cook most of our meals instead of going out. The kitchen is fully equipped and the Ingles grocery store nearby is stocked with great meal prep options. We look forward to our next visit to WJ and this is our “go-to” reservation…hands down! Our dog agrees with that too! -JA
